Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy describes what we collect and how we handle it when you use TruthPixel AI.
1.Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information TruthPixel AI ("we," "us") collects when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the free public tool and the website. Paid commercial use is additionally governed by a separate agreement and Data Processing Agreement.
2.Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider processes your email address, name, and a unique account identifier so we can create and secure your account.
Content you submit. Images, files, and URLs you provide for analysis, along with any text you enter. For the free tool, submissions are not treated as confidential (see the Terms of Use).
Analysis results and history. The verdict, confidence score, signal breakdown, and a small preview of analyzed images. In the current version this history is stored locally in your browser; account-linked history stored on our servers is being rolled out.
Usage data. Standard technical information such as device, browser, and pages visited, collected to operate and improve the Service.
3.How We Use Information
We use the information to provide and secure the Service, run and return analyses, maintain your history, understand and improve performance, and, as described in the Terms of Use, to refine our detection methods. We do not sell your personal information.
4.Third-Party Services
To operate the Service we rely on a small set of processors: an authentication provider (Clerk) for sign-in and account management, an AI provider (OpenAI) that receives submitted content to perform analysis, and cloud database and hosting providers. Each processes data only to provide their part of the Service and under their own terms.
5.Data Retention
Account information is kept for as long as your account exists. As described in the Terms of Use, content submitted through the free tool and its analysis results may be retained indefinitely and used to improve the Service. You can ask us to delete account data as described below.
6.Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and store your recent analysis history on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes locally stored history.
7.Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can clear locally stored history from your browser at any time, and you can request deletion of account data by contacting us.
8.Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@truthpixel.ai. This policy is a general description and does not constitute legal advice; the definitive terms for paid use are set out in your commercial agreement and Data Processing Agreement.
